Rationale
A 3cmc blue Aura that permanently taps a creature, strips all its abilities, and prevents it from untapping — essentially a one-sided Pacifism that also negates utility creatures. Excellent in control and stax-prison as a hard lock on any creature (commander included); a bomb in Limited where neutralizing one creature can dominate. Actively anti-voltron since enchanting your own creatures only strips their abilities; the "becomes unprepared" rider is a minor interaction with the mech-prepared mechanic from Secrets of Strixhaven.
Learnings (3)
The 'becomes unprepared' clause is a niche interaction with the mech-prepared mechanic: if the enchanted creature was prepared, it loses that status — but since the creature also loses all abilities, this clause is mostly redundant and rarely matters in practice.

This Aura locks out commanders just as effectively as any creature, making it a high-priority removal target in commander-heavy formats like Brawl, where neutralizing the commander is disproportionately powerful at 25-life.

Because the static ability prevents untapping AND removes all abilities, it shuts down both combat and activated abilities simultaneously — unlike Pacifism, which still allows tap-activated abilities to function.
