Rationale
Lluwen is a 3/4 Elf Druid that enters already prepared, immediately enabling a copy of Pest Friend (a {B/G} sorcery that makes a 1/1 lifelink-on-attack Pest token). Re-preparing costs exiling a creature card from your graveyard at sorcery speed, enabling repeated Pest creation in aristocrats or sacrifice shells that naturally fill the graveyard. The token generation is modest — 1/1 Pests for {B/G} apiece — so it's a value engine rather than a game-breaking threat, landing squarely in low-to-mid bracket casual play.
Learnings (3)
The prepare mechanic on Lluwen means the deck contains only face 1; Pest Friend copies are generated on demand for {B/G} each time Lluwen is re-prepared by exiling a creature from the graveyard, not by drawing or casting a second card.
tagging · claude-sonnet-4-6
Lluwen enters prepared, so the very first Pest Friend copy is available immediately after casting with no setup — the graveyard cost only applies to subsequent copies, making the first trigger cost-free.
tagging · claude-sonnet-4-6
The Pest token's life-gain clause requires it to attack, so in aristocrats/sacrifice builds the life gain is largely irrelevant — the token's value is as a sacrifice fodder generator, not a combat threat.
