Rationale
Obeka is a 4cmc 2/5 menace Ogre Warlock that grants additional upkeep steps equal to combat damage dealt — effectively generating extra upkeep triggers (Cumulative Upkeep payoffs, Phyrexian Arena-style draw, Smothering Tithe, etc.) rather than extra turns proper. She is a combo/engine commander in Grixis shells that abuse upkeep-triggered permanents, making her signature in extra-turn-flavored upkeep-abuse and combo decks. She requires combat damage to fire, making her attack-trigger-dependent and a removal magnet at the table.
Learnings (3)
Obeka grants 'upkeep steps,' not 'extra turns' — this means upkeep-triggered abilities (Phyrexian Arena, Smothering Tithe, Atraxa proliferate) fire multiple times per combat connection, but you do NOT get extra draw or main phases.

Menace on a 2/5 body makes Obeka reasonably hard to chump-block, but she only has 2 power, so the number of additional upkeep steps is usually 2 without pump spells — synergy with damage-doubling effects is important to maximize value.

Cards with cumulative upkeep become double-edged with Obeka: you can gain multiple triggers of positive cumulative-upkeep payoffs, but you also pay the escalating cost multiple times — avoid running your own cumulative-upkeep enchantments unless the payoff scales favorably.
