Rationale

Pearl Collector is a 3cmc 3/3 with deathtouch and lifelink — already above rate as a body — that conjures a Mox Pearl into your hand (zero-cost mana rock) if you gained 4+ life in a turn, once per game. In lifegain decks this triggers reliably and provides a massive tempo swing. The activated ability to grant perpetual lifelink to another creature further supports lifegain/drain strategies. It's not legal in Commander (digital-only mechanic), so bracket_relevant is limited to Brawl-appropriate brackets.

Learnings (3)

  • The conjured Mox Pearl is a digital card added to your hand for the rest of the game — it provides colorless (or potentially any color if the digital implementation matches Mox Pearl's oracle text) mana, making the lifegain trigger roughly equivalent to drawing a free Sol Ring.

  • Pearl Collector's conjure trigger fires only once per game (explicit rules text), so it does not function as an ongoing engine; treat it as a one-shot bonus rather than a repeatable payoff.

  • The {2}{W} perpetual lifelink activation permanently modifies another creature across zones (hand, graveyard, future recasts) in Arena's digital ruleset — this has no paper equivalent and makes it uniquely powerful in Brawl decks that loop or reanimate creatures.
