Rationale

A 3cmc Saga/creature hybrid that ramps a basic land (Chapter I), pumps the next creature cast with a +1/+1 counter (Chapter II), then draws a card conditionally if you have the biggest creature (Chapter III). The multi-chapter sequencing is slow and the card-draw payoff is narrow (requires board dominance), making it fringe in Commander/Brawl; in Limited it's a solid on-curve ramp body with modest upside.

Learnings (3)

  • The Chapter II trigger—'when you next cast a creature spell this turn'—requires you to cast a creature the same turn Chapter II fires, meaning the counter bonus is only relevant if you hold a creature in hand and have mana to cast it that same draw step.

  • As an Enchantment Creature, Summon: Fenrir is a Saga with a body simultaneously; it counts as a creature for power-comparison in its own Chapter III, but you must control a creature with at least tied-greatest power after it has already entered as a 3/2 to draw.

    tagging · claude-sonnet-4-6

  • Because it sacrifices after Chapter III, any counters or Aura/Equipment attachments are wasted unless you have a way to flicker or copy it before the sacrifice.
