Rationale

4cmc planeswalker with a passive that draws a card at the start of each opponent's draw step — in a 4-player Commander game that's 3 free draws per round, making it a dominant card-advantage engine. The +1 builds a board of Illusion tokens, the −2 provides tempo-positive bounce removal scaling with opponent count, and the −6 functions as a game-winning pump effect. Universally powerful in blue control/midrange; the passive alone justifies inclusion, scaling further in multiplayer. Drops slightly in Brawl (only one opponent's draw step to trigger) but remains a strong planeswalker in 1v1.

Learnings (3)

  • The passive 'draw a card at the beginning of each opponent's draw step' is NOT a may ability and triggers for every opponent — in a 4-player EDH game this generates 3 free draws per round without spending any loyalty, making it one of the most efficient blue card-advantage engines in Commander.

  • In Brawl (1v1), the passive yields only one free draw per round instead of three, which still makes it strong but significantly narrows the gap compared to its multiplayer dominance.

  • The −2 bounce scales with opponent count: in a 4-player game it can return up to 3 artifacts or creatures to their owners' hands, functioning as a multi-target tempo spell that only costs 2 loyalty.
